Coal Mine Steel Structure Project

The Vietnam Maoxi Coal Mine Project, originally designed by a Russian design institute two decades ago, remained suspended until 2017 due to various political and economic factors. The coal mine comprises one main shaft and two auxiliary shafts, demanding extremely high welding precision with the strictest deviation tolerances. Notably, the cable rack components—which had never been manufactured domestically or internationally—required custom fabrication based on technical drawings.

During the preliminary phase, our technical department collaborated closely with the procurement team to conduct a comprehensive comparison of raw materials compliant with Russian, European, and other international standards. European-standard materials were identified as the optimal choice for the project and recommended to the client. Both parties swiftly reached a consensus and formalized the order.

The total order volume amounts to 1,600 tons of steel, which has since been deployed in construction, making significant contributions to the advancement of Vietnam’s coal mining sector.
