NNPC Tank Project

This project entailed the construction of eight (8) storage tanks as part of a 60,000 barrels per day (B/D) water treatment plant and water injection line at Ughelli East. It was specifically for the produced water handling project associated with OML 34.

The storage tanks include:

Large Storage Tanks: There are tanks with a height of 20 meters and a diameter of 25 meters.

Emulsion Tanks: Additionally, there are 2 emulsion tanks, each with a height of 7 meters and a diameter of 13 meters.

Other Tanks: Construction standards also covered water tanks and fire water tanks. The water tanks have a height of 10 meters and diameters of 16 meters and 13 meters respectively, while the fire water tanks also adhere to relevant construction standards with similar height and diameter specifications (if applicable; you may need to clarify if there are separate fire water tank specs).

We was entrusted with the comprehensive processing service for over 1,500 tons of carbon steel, with thicknesses ranging from 3 to 24 mm. The processing workflow encompassed a series of operations, including cutting, beveling, rounding, shot blasting, painting, packaging, and other related processes.

Although the project's preliminary phase commenced in December of the previous year, the materials were officially incorporated into the finishing and processing plan at a later stage. The actual processing duration was one month. Throughout this period, various departments within Xinyue Group, namely sales, planning, technology, and production, collaborated seamlessly and in a timely manner. They maintained stringent quality control at each stage of the process, ensuring the timely delivery of the finished products.
